Ten out of the eighteen persons arrested by Police in Rivers State for alleged involvement in illegal oil refinery were arraigned in court on Tuesday, 11th January.
They were arraigned before a magistrate court in Port Harcourt with two count charges of defrauding the federal government of revenue without lawful authorities among others. The suspects pleaded not guilty.
Chief Magistrate A. O. Amadi-Nna declined jurisdiction but remanded the suspects at the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre.
